Digital Products & Custom Solutions

When work is held together by manual steps, disconnected systems or a tool that no longer fits, I help define the right next move - whether that means improving what exists, using a mature tool or building something custom.

Start from the state your product is in

Build a useful first version or workflow tool

Scoped around what needs to work better

For an idea or a real work process that needs a clearer, more dependable way of running. We define the smallest useful version, then choose the most proportionate approach.

  • You have a problem or opportunity, not a finished specification
  • The first version needs to create learning, not imitate a finished product
  • The hard decisions are what to include now and what can wait
  • A working result matters more than a long feature list

Projects of this shape

Build a full custom product

Scoped as a whole

For a product with connected journeys, logic and technical decisions that need to work together. I can take responsibility for the product, design and build alongside the right specialist team.

  • The product has more than one journey, interface or technical layer
  • The value depends on how those parts work together, not on one feature alone
  • You need product decisions, design and development to stay connected
  • The build needs a clear owner and a coordinated team

Projects of this shape

Build a platform around a specific operation

Scoped as a whole

For an organisation whose work needs more than a public website: access, roles, structured content, workflows or reporting need to support a defined programme or service.

  • The platform supports a real internal, partner or member-facing operation
  • Access, content, progress, data or reporting need to behave in a specific way
  • A generic tool would force the work into the wrong shape
  • The system needs to remain workable for the people running it

Projects of this shape

Improve or take over what exists

Scoped after a look

For a product, prototype or internal tool that has stalled, become fragile or outgrown its first setup. I assess what is worth keeping, what needs strengthening and what the practical next version should be.

  • The existing build is hard to change, maintain or trust
  • An AI-built or inherited product has reached its limit
  • You need a clear answer on whether to fix, rebuild or stop
  • The next version needs to be simpler and more dependable

When the first question is where to begin

If the product is not clearly defined yet, you do not need to commit to a plan or build straight away. We can start with one consultation, understand the situation together and find a useful next step.

Rokas Petrošius

Digital creator and consultant

I have built my own products and developed ideas from scratch many times. I know what it means to work with limited resources, make every decision alone and worry about missing an opportunity. I also know the cost of thinking for too long and trying to do too much. My strength is understanding a situation quickly and seeing the whole picture. I bring both product thinking and hands-on development experience to every project, helping you choose a direction and turn an idea into a working solution.

Every custom project includes

A useful boundary

A shared understanding of what the next version must do and what can wait.

Technical direction

A setup chosen for the product, its users and the people who will own it.

Hands-on execution

Product thinking, interface work and development connected rather than handed between silos.

Agreed checkpoints

You see work at useful points and can respond before the project continues.

A supported handover

Launch, access, documentation where useful and an agreed period of support.

Ownership

Your accounts, code and essential product access remain under your control.

How I choose the setup

Use mature tools where they fit

For the problems that are already solved well

Payments, authentication, content, analytics and other standard jobs often deserve a trusted foundation rather than a bespoke reinvention.

Build the part that makes the product different

For the workflow, interaction or logic that creates the value

Custom work belongs where the business or user need is genuinely specific, not where a familiar tool would do the job.

The choice depends on what the product needs to do, what already exists, who will maintain it and which parts should not be rebuilt from scratch. When a project needs specialist engineering depth, I bring in trusted collaborators while keeping the product direction and delivery connected.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if an existing tool is enough?

That can be the right answer. I will not recommend custom work where a mature tool, a simpler setup or a specialist integration solves the problem more sensibly. Custom work earns its place when the workflow, logic or ownership needs are genuinely specific.

Can you work with something built using AI or no-code tools?

Yes. I will assess what is there, what it can reasonably become and whether it makes more sense to strengthen it, replace parts of it or start again with a smaller, sounder version.

What if I already have a design or requirements?

That is a good starting point. I review how complete the material is, identify the decisions that still need resolving and scope the implementation around the real work.

Can you help decide what to build first?

Yes. When there is a clear need but too many possible features, I help define the smallest useful version. If the larger question is whether the product should exist at all, start with a consultation.

Will you work with my team or other specialists?

Yes. I can work directly with your team, designer or specialist partners. The important thing is that responsibilities and decision-making are clear before the build begins.

What happens after launch?

You receive access, handover and an agreed period of support. Continued development can follow when it is useful, but there is no required ongoing arrangement.
