Sanctum is a retreat and events space in the forest outside Vilnius. Its architecture does not compete with the landscape: it leaves room for light, silence and the feeling of being away from everything. The website needed to begin that experience before a guest arrived.
The brief
The visual language had to be custom and minimal, echoing the architecture without turning the website into an architectural moodboard. Spaciousness, nature and aesthetic had to work alongside an experience that people could actually navigate and use.
What I built
A custom WordPress site where photography and pacing carry the story, and each next step stays easy to find. It brings together retreat and team-event information, seven forest lofts, body rituals and the wider Sanctum world without making the visitor work for it.
Underneath the calm surface is the practical machinery: forest-loft bookings, event ticket sales and marketing integrations. They are part of the same journey, not bolt-ons competing for attention.
Why WordPress
Sanctum is alive: new events, changing programmes, seasonal stays and stories need to be published without a developer in the room. WordPress was the practical foundation for a custom experience that can keep growing with the place. The goal was never a flashy website. It was a clear, durable system that feels as considered as the space itself.
