Ziggy Locksmiths is a small team serving Glasgow and the surrounding areas. I led the discovery and strategy: who comes to the site, what they need in that moment, and which enquiries matter most to the business.
The approach
Most visitors arrive on a phone with a specific problem. I shaped the site around that journey: a page for the relevant service or area, a quick way to see that Ziggy can help, and a clear choice to call or send a photo.
The direction also reflects the team’s way of working. Real people and recent jobs build trust; repair advice comes before replacement. Large type, plain language and visible contact options make the site easier to use, especially for older customers.
What I made
I turned that strategy into the page structure, design and a custom WordPress theme. Service and area pages give local searches a useful destination, while the team can add jobs and reviews themselves. The result is a practical site built around the calls Ziggy wants to receive.
